These vibrant colour images go beyond photo realism. However, nothing has been added to or subtracted from the data in the original camera RAW files.  All the visual elements are contained in the information that was recorded by the camera at the moment that the shutter was clicked. The subdued, and apparently invisible colours that are present in the original photograph,have been enhanced with often surprising revelations during the process of producing the digital print. 

The result is a near abstract style of image that creates a pictorial quality that emphasises the pattern, texture and the colour, and is intended to arouse an emotional response and interest that is not necessarily related to the nature of the subject before the camera lens.
